WTF is WRONG with LJ? No matter what computer or internet service I use I CANNOT ACCESS it except intermittently. I hardly even expect this to post. I can't get my friends page. I can't get my profile. I can't get anything! I"m amazed it loaded this page. It's been like this for DAYS now ( Read more... )

It has been quite annoying these past for days but it seems to be getting a little better today... for me anyway. I have not been having so much trouble getting access from home, mostly just a lot slower than normal. At work it has been horrible and impossible for much of the past three days.

Today is the first time I could get back on since Sunday afternoon, I think. I managed to post this post via m.livejournal.com on my iphone. I MISSED LJ!

I've got some codes for Dreamwidth if you want a backup journal. You can set it up so that it will automatically crosspost to LJ.

It seems better for me today as well.
I am not sure what is going on and feel sad because we certainly have been here many years and have always gotten better service or apologies, offers of extra time added and acknowledgement from past owners when service was down.

it was a denial of service thing

there are folks who have journals
with governments that are trying to silence them
and they hack away at live journal because they
can't get them to stop posting

i've been trying to back up on dreamwith
will have to wait till the dust settles...
and will be posting via both
so i can always be available

OHhh I have a dreamwidth account from ages ago! I'm just heliina there but have never used it! I may reconsider that in the future. thanks for reminding me!
