Hey, everybody needs to laugh during troubled times, right? This goes out to, well, quite a few of you. I loved the Book of Ruth, it's one of my favorites the regular, it's hysterical rendered in LOLCatSpeak. Reply with your favorites!

Favorite things to laugh at, you mean? Well, there's a cartoon I cut out of the newspaper back in the 90's, and I've never been able toeven glance at it without feeling amused. Alas, I only have the paper copy, and no scanner available, so I'll just have to describe it:

It's a single-panel comic strip; in the center is a sheep, who is totally naked - it's wool is spread out on the ground in a blast ring around it. The other sheep are milling nervously off to one side; one has turned to the explosively denuded sheep and is saying, "Gesundheit."

I think perhaps this gets to me because I was born to a family of mighty sneezers. I'm talking the full-body wrackers that nearly lift you off the floor and can literally be heard from the other end of the house. They may not, in real life be able to knock all one's wool off, but they feel like they ought to be.

Alternatively, there's alwasys this scene from Monty Python's The Life of Brian. Last time I saw this in the cinema, I was crying.

I have a favorite comic that can be described as well. A couple is at a dinner party and the caption at the bottom says, "We thought it was a rough spell, but it turned out to be our life."

I could not work your 'Life of Brian' link. But that's one of my *favorite* movies. "Yes, we are all individuals!"
