While my Friend's List is still quite small when compared to most LJ folks, I find that I've not been paying proper attention to all of the wonderful bloggers on it. This is a stunning news story that I saw referenced in a recent issue of Time. In the Verbatim section of the magazine, it quoted Nujood Ali as saying, "I no longer think about marriage." and described her as the world's youngest divorcee. I'm mainly unfamiliar with The Gossip. I think I might have heard one or two of their songs on European radio. My boyfriend emailed me this link today. I found the song pretty good, but I really liked the video. I felt the video flatteringly portrayed a groovy bar scene with patrons of varying orientations or identifications. This video is recommended for people who have time, who like cats and who are willing to anthropomorphize enough to extrapolate a great human truth from two animals and their behavior.
