We still got the flu shots, though. Glad y'all are finally better.
A bit of a cough. A little bit wheezy. No interest in food, little interest in liquid. Very, very tired. Slight fever. Nausea. It progressed to a regular cough and no interest in liquid. Which got her dehydrated. There was also a hive rash near the end of the illness every single night. It was pretty scary because she was on a new antibiotic and we did a bunch of "can she have this antibiotic/maybe this one" before we found that even of the antibiotic she was getting the rash.
My GP just advised me not to get the flu shot if I haven't already. She's been seeing a lot of vaccinated people return and test positive for the flu - and of those lots are not even getting a light flu.
Now this next bit is strictly observational - but getting the flu shot while you are the least bit sick already seems to do the opposite of immunize. One of the reasons I don't get the flu shot anymore and likely will not get it for Trey is the severity of our seasonal allergies, which of course, peak during the best time of year to get the shot.
