*once again locked against professors*

I think for my next lecture, I'm going to go off-syllabus and teach soul detection, so that I can use my students, Largo-style, to help find which squirrels are really squirrels, and which are transformed students. I expect about 90% of the class to fail at this, as it's a very advanced necromantic spell, and ( Read more... )

If you're having problems with the administration, I might be able to assist.

As odd as the professors are, I don't think an ex-con saying 'SO CAN I TEACH ABOUT THESE SPELLS' and handing out the Libris Mortis would go over so well without additional help.

There's a copy of Libris Mortis hidden back in the restricted section of the library. I could sneak it out if you like - I need to get a few more books out of there myself.^^

Shiney. I'll keep that in mind as a backup. I don't want to trip the alarm hexes they have there if possible.

Ummm.. naturally I know nothing of this, but... be careful. Not of getting caught-- of the books. Generally 'restricted' means 'trying to do this without proper instruction could mess someone up permanently'.

What's it an abbreviation for? *is curious*

Okay, um... not to be too rude or anything, but I DO recognize that abbreviation and isn't using a book like that to teach students kind of... criminally irresponsible?

I'd love to help but I think we're getting way out of my areas of expertise, such as they are.

Okay, so we have a professor whose an ex con.. trying to teach magic from a restricted book? I wouldn't mind learning a new spell or so..

[michievious smirk]

Who determines what magic is restricted anyway?

As for the squirrels that are students.. I might consult the runes about it and see if through their magic it might be possible to determine who is who.. or what.. or.. whatever. If those don't work.. I've got some other items in my arsenal to test.

I had no idea that there was such an infastructure built around magic. I wonder if I've broken any rules on accident in my private studies...
