Quick post from the computer lab. I'm back from my unfortunate incident with the Men in Black. Thanks for the breakout, guys! You know who you are. Not giving details on a public machine. A few things:

-Who's got my laptop? It has a secure line to the Ministry, which I'll need to use to make my full report. Not naming names this time.

I'm not really sure what happened to your laptop - someone had taken it before Bree and I went to investigate your room. Bob was indicating that someone from the high school boys dorm might have taken it, though. Ooooh, you speak the language of the dead, so you could probably ask him! I'm really gonna have to learn that.

And of course the headmaster is on our side! He's awesome!^^

I did-- he doesn't even remember that I had a computer, unfortunately. The moral of the story is always question undead witnesses quickly-- they don't have much in the way of memory capacity.

In that case, it's a wonder that Bob was even able to tell Holly where you were. He sure lead us on what felt like a wild goose chase for a while though.

He did surprisingly well, considering. I gave him a whole bag of thinkin' strips for being such a good zombie. He did tell me something not entirely comprehensible and slightly disturbing about Thuvos somehow transfiguring a pastry of some sort.

Correct. I'm starting to cast soul detection spells regularly while I'm about campus, so we should have the problem cleaned up soon.

Incidentally I have your laptop. You might be glad to hear it's undamaged, unlike the rest of my room.

I can open another rift, but that's an exhausting spell. (And I did it without using my wand. Didn't have the right wand.) We'll have to work out a payment.

I don't have much in the way of money. I do have connections down there. I understand some people might be slightly upset about a certain object you sent them recently? Perhaps payment might be that I do what I can to investigate and try to smooth any ruffled feathers (or I suppose fur now) from that incident.
