I've been crazy about books my entire life. I mean, I love reading, and I always have. I was the kid reading through lunch in school, not really paying attention to the fact that I wasn't eating with friends that I didn't have. But I also was a little crazy about books as objects. Same here. I got a Kindle Paperwhite as a Christmas gift, and have already half-forgotten why I resisted them for so long. I usually have lunch at my desk, and it makes reading while eating much easier. I can also read while I'm going for walks, even at night. And, as I'm packing up carton after carton with books I'm going to donate, I'm also appreciative of how little space the Kindle takes up.
