I thought I was going to get lucky and have a work trip to MA and PA in the week between Arisia and Conflikt, which would have meant being able to go to both cheaply. Sadly -- curses! -- my boss has decided we should go the following week, which means going to neither, since I'll need to be in Andover bright and early on Monday morning. The best laid plans, and all that...

the infection that was destroying my jaw bone is under control

Whaaaaa? Yipe!!! Is this the one that was causing you discomfort when I saw you recently? I'm glad to know it's under control, but the description above had me quite startled.

yeah apparently the bone loss is fairly significant and the original dentist wanted to pull out at least 2 teeth because there wasn't enough bone to hold them and I'd have continual infections until they were removed. MY dentist thinks that we can root canal the one that was causing the biggest fuss and the other tooth -- well there's not a lot of bone holding it in BUT it's not bothering me right now so... we'll see.

I was freakin and a peakin last week. Had to get some Ativan to get my to my dentist appointment. That original dentist had scared me silly and the 3 courses of antibiotics didn't help either...
