awkward things are so awkward. i guess it's only awkward if you allow yourself to get awkward. this went ok. good to get it over with. like getting a shot.
pruning my garden, pulling out weeds, trimming back branches. working so hard to keep the boston vicinity empty, managable, safe. it's safe again. free to roam.

dreams
i dreamed last night that McCain pulled Palin off of his campaign and asked Henry Paulson to be his veep running mate instead. how disappointing to wake up and discover it was only a dream... not that i'm a terrible fan of Paulson but anyone would prob be better.
