Brian is now a father. On Friday, Tala was born at a healthy 7lbs, 5oz. Her birth was followed by an ice storm that left 300,000 Georgians without power.

They are all recovering happily. My love goes out to them and their new life together.

Duke is an amazing place. The architecture is that 'ivy' gothic style architecture complete with cobblestone rooftops occasionally bolstered by classic medieval parapets. Really something else.
