Claiming your Scottish because your great great great whomever was Scottish. you may have scottish ancestory but that does not make you scottish and does not give you the right to say "the Scot in me..." this goes for any ancestory...ESPECIALLY IF YOU HAVE NEVER BEEN TO THE COUNTRY YOU CLAIM TO BE FROM!

I'm 50% German, 12.5% English, 12.5% Irish, 12.5% Scottish and 12.5% Dutch.

The Scot in me is still shunning you...but the German, English, Irish and Dutch are pussies...they're done with the shun.

That is a very american thing.

My pet peeve? People who leave year-old crumpled Club Class luggage tags on their bags. Well whoopy F***ing do, your Miles once let you travel Club, you must be so f**ing special!!

And that is a very british thing.
