So Borders is bankrupt.

This isn't a surprise; even though they made us sell those "Pay $20 to shop at our store" cards harder than ever in these last three weeks, we employees spent that time imbuing our sales pitch with an urgent, yet unspoken, "don't be a fool! Come back in a week when everything is 75% off!" subtext.
