I am having the hardest time trying to write this update on Jim’s health. He’s not dead. That is to say his body is still breathing and reacting to pain and pain medication, but aside from that, he’s not really alive either

I can not imagine what you are going through. I am thinking of you and Jim and hoping...well I am just hoping that some light shines to show you both your way.

I am at such a loss that I never had the chance to know Jim better. Truly one of the most missed opportunities of my time. Yet technology allowed me to know a man whom I had only spent maybe an entire day with so much more. For that I'll always be thankful.
