There was an argument the other night about the best concert many of my friends (Many? like 3 others, but that's a lot to me) have ever been to. I refuse to believe there is a band called "Snot".I don't know why.i just do.

There isn't, any more*. But when there was, it was awesome.

*- The singer (Lynn Strait, from whom my daughter gains her middle name) and the band's mascot- a dog named Dobbs, died in a car accident in Decembmer of 1998... or 1999. I don't remember.

The following email was sent to "Tom K" at the State Theater this morning:

"Dear 'Tom K',

Some friends and I attended a concert at the State Theater in the summer of 1997, that we consider the best we'd ever seen. The headliner was Soulfly, with Incubus, System of a Down, and Snot as openers.

Do you keep an archive of concert posters, and if so, would it be possible to purchase one for this show?

Apparently "Tom K" at the State theater personally attended the show in question, so there's another party to vouch that it happened. The bad news is, no posters.

There honestly couldn't have been more than about 8 or 9 hundred there. Though it was hard to tell from our personal vantage points, neck deep in hot chicks and all.

Shit, I was just thinking about the concert today! Strange! By far the best show ever. My ticket costs me like $15 to top it all off.

I used to have the poster for this show. I bought it off eBay but it got water on it when I was moving from my dorm one year.

Incubus was on the poster by the way. How can Chuck not remember Incubus a this show. Brandon played a bongo drum or some shit.
