There's a lot of people spooked out by the number of celebrity deaths that have happened lately.
Has it occurred to anyone that over the last couple of decades America has seriously lowered the bar on what it takes to be famous, and there's just more "celebrities" out there than ever before? Some of them are bound to die eventually.
I experienced a moment of dread and sadness this morning when I walked into Wal-Mart and saw them setting up all their Back-to-School displays. Then I remembered I wasn't 12, and it wasn't time for me, personally, to go back to school.
