Well. Vonage still isn't working. I am thinking about just cancelling it and getting a new number by having one of the emily's order one and having their parents mail it. Not sure what else to do. It is rough not being able to make some calls (i.e. to vonage itself, or to verizon ( Read more... )

Ulpan is only sunday through wednesday eh?

what day of the week is the 4th?

yes. Ulpan is four days a week... sunday through wednesday. On thursdays we have intensive seminars, tomorrow is on various things. Other times we travel around Jerusalem doing on site learning... which sounds GREAT right?! of course, however on days where we leave campus, because we are leaving campus and learning 'on the road', we are required to ALSO meet at HUC on those wednesday nights to do 3-4 hours of intensive learning so we have a better feel for what we will be doing the next day.

(that may have been a run on, and not very grammatically correct. that is because I am on hold with vonage at the moment. Apologies.

by the way, august 4th is a thursday

So on Thursdays you either have intensive seminars or Jerusalem travel? So you probably would be busy during Thursday afternoons?

You're learning trope in Israel?! I'm learning trope at camp! (My faculty are teaching me.) We'll have to compare notes at some point. I'm slightly intimidated, what with being unable to carry a tune or even hum, but I'm determined to learn anyway... :)
