Cultural Superiority
I was installing a new language dictionary for Seamonkey, as I got sick of all my Britishisms being highlighted as incorrect (the default dictionary is the US spelling), and I was pleased to note that the British dictionary is considerably larger than the Australian one. -
U-turn
Have to say that despite my reservations when they announced him, I'm absolutely loving Matt Smith and I completely understand why they had to pick him in spite of his age. He's far too young to lust after, so I'll just have platonic admiration from afar. -

Last night I was thinking that perhaps Mr Clegg had dropped a clanger. Missed the Volcano (again!)
There's nothing like waiting through the interminable minutes till your flight departs, and then see on the telly that the ash cloud has closed airports in Scotland and NI, and 'may be moving south'. That's as far as it got, thankfully.
