Heh, I enjoyed this. Also, I lived in Ohio for a large portion of my life and I still utterly refuse to call it "pop." It's SODA! XD

I enjoyed reading this. I got confused at the end about saying pop as I say it in Yorkshire but then thanks to eska818's comment I realise that it is an Ohio word too. :)

I occasionally pronounce zebra with a short e sound…

I do that all the time, and I have no excuse; I spent the first thirty-six years of my life in the Continental United States... zEHbra just sounds cooler.

I've lived everywhere in the US, and the diversity is astounding. Am I a New Mexican? A New Yorker? A Jersey Boy? An Oklahoman?

I have no idea...
