I enjoyed reading this. I have to know - what is a Bog Boy? I have lots of images in my mind, usually of the monster variety. Also, I liked the fact that you got real satisfaction from counting and feeling the money you earned.

Because you put the tips away in your dinosaur jar (how awesome!), they were almost forgotten about until you pulled them out... and then they probably seemed like a big surprise present! "Extra" money, all for you.

I can understand why holding and counting out that money would be such a vivid memory, not just the tactile part but the moment itself. :)
