[ Xion's always had this thing for dreaming. Although, back home, it was memories... memories and meanings she couldn't understand. Dreams of the ocean and the sound of waves, dreams of a boy in red

[Kaori's never been keen on being woken up, being a light sleeper and all, and was about to start ranting at Xion for interrupting her beauty sleep...
... but she had to start singing, didn't she? There's no faster way to get her attention than with music. So she stays quiet, listening carefully the whole way through as a small smile comes across her face.]
You have such lovely singing... Does your song have a name? [There's still a significant amount of sleep in her voice, but excitement is starting to make it's way in. Music is one of her favorite things to talk about.]
[ dslkjghls such flattery will get you everywhere. ;~; ] Um... I'm not sure! I didn't think to ask the friend who first played it for me... I ought to, now that I think about it.
[Luke is definitely awake at this hour. He hasn't even gone to bed yet. He'd been sitting by his window, having pushed aside his plants to rest his arms on the sill and look up at the snow falling to the ground when he first heard Xion wake up from her nightmare.
The sounds are familiar, as he'd do the same thing when he'd have nightmares of his own. But before he can speak up - the feed gets cut off.
He frowns to himself a little, but looks up at the sky again. Oh well... Maybe he'll talk to her tomorr-
And then he hears the singing. Luke knows who it is - that tone is the same, after all. The sound makes him smile a little, drift his eyes shut and listen. He'd always loved music, ever since he was made. Music and singing; that's why he always loved to hear Tear sing, even if she mostly did it during battles.
Once it's over, Luke looks back at the journal again, which sits a few feet away at his nightstand.]
[... He likes his spot by the window, but he has to speak up a little to let himself be heard, and he doesn't want to wake his other housemates up. So, he scoots closer until he's by the nightstand, straddling the back of his chair with his arms resting on the top of it.]
... and then he says that. why does he have to say that?! skdlgjha. well, she'll smile, slightly embarrassed. ] I really didn't mean for anyone to hear me... you really think so?

[Tear was just about to go to bed when she heard the feed, worried at first over who the person had been and becoming more so when it was cut off. She let out a sigh of relief when it opened again, listening to Xion sing the whole way through. The melodist hadn't been aware that there were others who liked to do the same thing openly here in Luceti.
So she will gladly answer that question, as obvious as it was to her.]
The Grand Fonic Hymn, each hymn carries a lot of meaning for me.
It's a series of hymns that carry much significance in my world, it's proof of the past between Yulia Jue and the aggregate sentience of the seventh fonon, Lorelei. In a way, it embodies their promise and love for Auldrant.
I have to meet Master Souji soon. [Said as if this is perfectly normal. Incidentally, he's nigh unrecognizable given his mess of hair isn't actually tied in the back yet. He's too busy putting food together in the background, so he goes back and forth from being in the image.]
I didn't know you could sing. I mean, well, anyone can sing. I just didn't know you were good at it.
... Master who? [ gosh, Sokka. she had no idea you got up to such shenanigans. and of course, when she gets a good look at him -- if a brief one -- she's rather surprised! whoa... so that's what he looks like with his hair down? he seems so much older, somehow. ]
Um... eh heh. Thank you! I didn't know I was good at it either... until just now. [ laughs quietly ]
[Ever since a certain conversation, Ion's found it rather difficult to sleep without his own thoughts there to keep him awake. He stops flipping through the journal when he hears Xion's initial cry, frowning down at the page and wondering if it was another kidnapping... but his nerves are settled when he hears her beginning to sing instead.]
[He waits a few moments after she's finished singing before quietly speaking up.]
I think so too! But, um ... you know, I'm not sure. I didn't ask! A friend played it for me not too long ago, and I really liked it, so it's kind of been stuck in my head ever since...
