so glad you liked it. I like the idea of them waking up like this too, all sweet and tender. *sigh* I know its not what life is like all the time, but its nice for them to have some shared joy now and again. Thanks so much for your comments.

Lovely, Christie. A very sweet visit with TWATTB boys.
Ennis kissed Jack softly at first, letting murmurs of "little bird" float into his mouth. He knew that would have Jack climbing the walls of his insides, and light him up like Christmas.
You lit us up like Christmas, too. :) Thank you for posting this, honey. Big hugs, E.

I must go catch up with this story. This was one of my favourites in the Brokeback Mountain fandom, as was debutante9's The Bellweather.
Great job!! I love hot mornings with beautiful men like Jack and Ennis.

Jack was desperate to open his eyes, wanted to see Ennis's face close to his, and drink in the wonder of this boy who had believed in him and brought him home.
I really loved these lines too, you describe the love they feel for each other so well:
Ennis knew Jack liked to have some part of himself touching him while they slept. Most times, Jack would stroke Ennis's blonde curls just over his left ear, that would more often than not send them both off to sleep with little trouble, and his hand could usually still be found there when the sun rose. Ennis didn’t mind - before Jack, there'd been so few touches from anyone on his own self that had meant anything extraordinary - but now, even Jack flicking a fly off Ennis's shoulder was special. It's so lovely imagining this Jack and Ennis to feel so safe and loved and happy together. Thanks so much for that ( ... )
