(The grammar is intended to sound weird, but it's possible it doesn't sound weird in the way I wanted it to.Just tell me if it's intolerable.) 250 words. A double drabble and a half?
I really like how even though Ryou's been given the choice to attempt at doing something different with himself, he takes the Ring anyway and welcomes having it again.
Though I'm a bit confused about the setting or why it's as if everything is repeating, the grammar itself isn't confusing and it's actually written really well.
I agree that it definitely has potential. I'd like to see it carried on if you ever decide to. :]
It's a take on the theory that we live our lives again and again, without remembering it.Like reincarnation, just that nothing ever changes. So he's fifteen again, and that's the point where he receives the ring. This is the moment he remembers that he's lived before and everything that happened. So he has a second chance and so does the spirit. Sorry it's so confusing.
i love how he thinks of throwing it out, trying to prevent it all but then realizes he can't, that it's already happened.
i'm intrigued by the idea of this, but chiba_kun has a point, you've got no idea as to why he's back at that point in time, or as you put it, why it's happening again. i would definitely love to see more, especially how they'll interact if Bakura remembers too, but you've got some explaining to do if it continues.
