Oh my goodness what a week! After a teary farewell at the Airport and lots of cuddles from my favourite nephew Henry and my adorable nieces Isobel and Eliza it was time for my 24 hours of transit. So I decided not to suffer from couch gravity last night and thought I'd go to a ballet class. Usually these are very simple beginner classes and I get a little bored. So I have 5 working days left at DE and then I will move on to an international school in Beijing! I have moved out of my apartment and I'm currently living in a hostel in People's Square, but I think I might switch hostels next week. Today kinda realised how far away from home I am, when a child wearing split pants (kinda crotchless) squatted and wizzed on the metro, so gross! What was worse, it wasnt an accident...his/her mum told her to do it!

Also the bicycles the size of trucks are hard to get used to.

Had some emotional farewells at the airport. The stress of it all caught up with me when being charged extra for my baggage....I didn't mind paying the extra I was expecting it, but was just really tired and it was 1 more thing to add to my thoughts that pushed a few tears out. So I fly out in 9 hours. Just had dinner with the family and feeling a little emotional. It's been a stressful couple of weeks getting ready and then having the whole luggage saga in the final hours hasn't helped.
