APRIL 7

I'm on the bus heading towards Jacksonville at the moment. Driving day today. Driver tells me it's just good ole I-10 the whole way to the Sunny State. Last night was Tucson and the band played well. My guitar player has been having problems with I Secede, but I had a talk with him-bought him a Jack and Coke and he tore right through ( Read more... )

Karl or Kyle or Kent or whatever his fucking low life name is. foreignpetals April 8 2004, 11:27:23 UTC
Rid yourself of that terrible bass player, once and for all, McGavern. He can't play bass and he can't read music. So tell me; does he still carry the rasp from sucking your dick to be in the band? I've been writing basslines for acts since Stevie Wonder. I've been getting handjobs from celebrities longer than that. Good luck on your nice long trip to welfare checks, Chimes.

Keep telling yourself you're the next Springsteen. No one else will.

I saw Chimes perform exceptionally at the House of Blues across the New York border, in Canada, when Niagara Falls was being lit up last year for Neil Garriscond's pre-birthday-bash party. I'd spotted him leaving a heavy coat and some dusty boots with the coat rack lady and just kind of went up to him and told him how much I liked his albums. I think he was sort of looking down my shirt, or not taking me seriously, or something, but it was just so neat to actually meet him in person.

Neil Garriscond didn't actually show up to the party, which I thought was kind of sad, since I'd brought him a topless photograph of Phoebe Cates that I took from Sean Penn's apartment when I was there in 1998, helping him clear the place of Robin's books.

Misty.
