Well I am back from Australia and I have to say that it was one of the best times I have ever had. I arrived in melbourne and spent a day there before traveling up to Sydney to spend about 5 days. I had lots of fun in sydney though the weather sucked most of the time and I caught the flu from a girl in my dorm. I explored and mostly just walked ( Read more... )

In the past few weeks I have been working like a maniac to get a publishable paper together before I leave for Australia. It still has not come together for me despite the fact that I leave in 6 days.  yikes. 14 days until I go to Australia, I have so much work to do before then!!

The first few weeks of school have been pretty uneventful, I have spent my time TAing and dealing with administrative stuff. The real news is that the australia trip that was a long way off is now just around the corner and I have yet to do much planning for it, I also don't have all the supplies I need just yet. It has been a long while since my last update so I will fill you in on what I have been up to:

- Three weekends ago I went camping to Long Point Provincial Park, it is a giant sand bar on Lake Erie, The weather for the first two days was good but on the last day it rained which meant we had to pack up our stuff while it was wet. eew. We ate lots of ( Read more... )

The past week went by pretty fast, I also got lots of work done at school. This friday I went out and had lots of fun with a pretty large group of friends. Yesterday I did my landry which consisted of 4 loads because apparently I wore every last item in my closet. Things I have accomplished this week:
- finally got my stupid program to work properly with correct data
- got ticket to australia
- booked all hostels for stay
- completed several crossword puzzles(my new addiction)

This weekend:
- Going to the beach
- working on a paper
- Going out on Friday night with friends
- Trying to save my money
- DDR

My festival day was absolutely wonderful, I only wish I could have gone for all three days and camped there too. Fiest was amazing and so totally charming (her mannerisms reminded me of the lovely Ms.
