I just really, really, really want to see a retelling of Beauty and the Beast with Chell as Beauty and Wheatley as the Beast. Let your imagination run wild, fellow anons. Anything goes!

Chapter 1
They moved quietly, their silhouettes reflecting briefly against the moon. She pulled her wagon behind her, her head swinging left and right. “Which way?” she asked.
“You take the west wing, I’ll have the east wing, okay?” he said optimistically.
“Got it,” she said, but didn’t move. “…are you sure you’ll be alright?”
“I’ll be fine,” he said breezily. “The only things that are here are hobos, and they’ll leave us well alone.” He smiled mischievously. “Unless you’re afraid of the ghosts…”
She snorted. “You know that’s just a ghost story made to keep kids away,” she said. “Besides, I’m not afraid of ghosts.”
He laughed. “That’s my girl. Meet me back here in an hour, okay?”
She turned to him with a worried look and a smile on her face, nodded, and headed that way. ~~~~~ This is a terrible idea, she thought, slowly filling up her wagon with scrap metal. This is a stupid idea. This is a terrible, stupid idea. Honestly, she didn’t feel that taking scrap metal from broken down houses was the most ethical way to get

CLANG! “OW! What-?!” The man turned around to find a girl pulling a wagon full of scrap metal and a particularly sharp piece of metal in her hand.
“Chell…” Cave gasped.
“Put my dad down!” she shouted at the man.
“Who…Who is this?” the man asked.
“My daughter,” Cave said proudly. “Ain’t she great?”
“Yeah, wonderful,” he said dismissively. He looked at her. “I’d put down the sharp stuff, luv. Someone could get hurt.” He made a motion as if to punch Cave, which was all Chell needed. “OW! That hurts after a while!” he grumbled

Thank youuuu! I'm glad you're enjoying this so far! To be honest, the joke wasn't mine, but a nod to the first 'Portal' game. ^^; Hopefully I'll be able to make up my own jokes, though. And it would be even better if they're good.:)

You're welcome! I was nervous that I wouldn't be able to write Cave very well, to be honest (I don't have deep reserves of crazy inside of me. Maybe.). Glad you're enjoying it so far!
