The highlight of my week so far was when a girl in my grammar class asked whether Deutschland was singular or plural.

I'm pretty sure that a shower just saved my life, so without further ado, ( my favorite bodies of water )

A timely list of things I like:

1. The way Bach's Cello Suites make life seem more dire (and a little like a Bergman film.)
2. The smell of the cusp between early-autumn and late-autumn.
3. The indisputable perfection of a good, black turtleneck.

I am freezing in the country of literal and metaphysical coldness.
