there is a difference between amy lee and the mentioned subculture, just like there is a difference between transsexual and transvestite. they may appear to be of the same kind wherelse in reality, they do not connect at all.
maybe you might want to tell your friend about that.
to people, amy lee represents goth. you're right. i heed you. there's no connection whatsoever. believe me, i have told her many a time about that. but she doesn't listen and it's getting old. and it's very tiring for me to go on doing so. damn, form 2 is so goddamn irritating!

dude,
we're all pretentious.
there's nothing to complain about really.
you're pretentious, i'm pretentious, we're all pretentious.
ok, so shal is pretentious because she wants a rock band.
and you? not?
come on, you would enjoy listening to barry manilow, dear.
and me, if it wasn't for matt bellamy [even he is pretentious], i'd never dye my hair red, nor cut it very short just so that i can spike them up.
it's normal. it's just like having a nose. everybody has a nose. and everbody has their own state of pretentiousness.
[okay. i admit. i'm commenting just so i can claim my name off. thank you!]
