At the advice of my therapist I am adding a happy ending to my dreams. He said it might bring closure

The earthquake was just a simulation on a computer. They used it to start planning reinforced cities in Japan.

Our friend in the passenger's seat grabbed the wheel when Dad turned away from it and managed to stop the van. We forced Dad out of it and someone else drove. We got Dad in the backseat where we could confront him.
