I will preface this by saying I am college aged. My father was verbally and sexually abusive and I repressed a good chunk of that. I regained some memories recently and my father is, for the time being at least, out of contact with me

At the advice of my therapist I am adding a happy ending to my dreams. He said it might bring closure

The other woman moves on after Dad dies. His daughter admits that she didn't know what an ass he really was.

In his last moments, Dad says he is sorry.
