My goodness, I just had a minor panic attack. A doctor from the blood service called me up with a sympathetic-doctor-voice on, wanting to talk to me about my donation last week. Erm...I think the only major difference between our outgoings at the moment (considering you earn a lot more than me) is that you have a car. And use it a lot!

I get paid somewhere in the region of £800 a month, and I spend about 100 paying off my overdraft (slowly!), about 100 on rent, about 50 on my phone (which is too much, that needs changing) and the rest goes on socialising/saving. Living at home rocks for the cheapness, which I'm sure you can appreciate! Other than that though, it's time to move out.

I keep getting that feeling too. My trip keeps getting longer - I'm now *hopefully* going to Canada as well, after we've done that extra week in California. And I think I'm more like to fall in love with Canada than the USA. But signing a contract for a house in Newcastle will mean that I do have something to bring me back at least!
