Wow, a Jay post. Been thinking about you lately, wondering. I was hoping you would pop in for a visit soon. I have to go to bed because I just worked three 12 hour nights in a row, so I haven't even read this. I'll be back.
After three 12 hour nights in a row, Bruce, and considering the NATURE of the job you have, the energy and sheer will it takes to persevere in that environment, the fact that afterword you even bothered to comment and say "hey" on my entry (especially with me being, um, truant for so long), speaks volumes. So thank you. Very much.
As far as my post itself is concerned, it more or less deals with the same issues I've been whining about for the better part of, oh, two years now. "Carpe dium" and all that stuff, you know how I roll. All I'm saying is; no rush. :)
There for awhile, what with everything going on, I really didn't feel like talking about me..you know? And whereas the logic in that is probably as much faulty as it is well-intentioned, I just wanted to take some time out and think about what my message was, exactly, that I wanted to offer to the world. And save up enough money to buy me an iPod. It's pretty sweet.
Aww, well..you do love Boston so. I really can't blame you there. A friend of mine was in DC not very long ago and the only thing he could mutter about it was the sheer disparity of wealth there. I've never been, personally, but if I had to pick between the two: Boston, all the way. :)
Me, I'm fine. I'm crazy fine, actually. I'm still not smoking, run about 10 miles a week, found a really great job that pays more than I've ever made before in my entire life, lost 20 pounds, living in a house by myself, writing my you-know-what off and just, generally, cold doin my thang.

We should fix that!
I've been wondering how you were. I tried to email you, but it was returned. Couldn't find your address...thought I was going to have to come beat around the woods and find you.
