Still awake. My vision of the city while standing on a balcony on the tenth story of an high-rise apartment building. I watched the trails of headlights glimmering below like water catching moonlight. I envy your ability to chose words... like an emptied can of Bud Light... not an empty, but emptied... i wish my brain thought more like that.

Mmm...Bud Light.

Actually I think "emptied" was something of a typo, but I'm glad that it all worked out. :)

Thanks! Kansas City rules, although I could never bring myself to live there again.

Oh, I'm in Excelsior Springs still. Close enough to KC but it's definitely not KC.

In a word: enthralling.

There is something about your writing that is so extremely vivid that I always feel like I am there, watching you scale buildings. Though I could probably make multiple comments here, I primarily want to say that I love that you left the empty Pepsi can on the ledge.

Oh and I'm also glad you didn't die.

Totally. I bet you, anyone to be all hyper-caffeinated like that probably ended up calling the police because of three missing cans of Pepsi. Folks who bring their soda home with them like that tend to be pretty high strung. That bein' said, I considered it my duty to do this.

I'm glad you liked it. Actually I'm always glad you liked it.

It's okay, Andrea Marie.

Dude. Looking outside my office window, I have never in my life seen snowflakes as huge as what I'm seeing now. They're like the size of playing cards.
