Sure did. That was the g-ma and her friend coming with me to the see the orchestra. I asked them if we could stop by before going to Severence Hall because I was going through severe Falafel and Mango Nectar withdrawal. I was going to give a holla but I know Aladdin's likes to stay all professional-like with everything. Didn't want to cramp your style or anything.
I was always a fan of the umbrella story. Apparently he carried one in all types of weather. Did I ever post that PINE*am cover of the First Gymnopedie?
If you did I missed it. I fucking love these 20th century French odd-balls. I just really want to sit down and play checkers or something with Satie and Alfred Jarry. In the same vein of the umbrella thing, Jarry would walk his pet lobsters on the sidewalks of Paris, and kept a half dozen owls/night birds in his flat. He was also about 5'1.
Bulletin: The Laramie Project is slated to run from April 3-8, which should leave a little window for a get-together of some kind. Kinda want to make it out to the Cinematheque again sometime soon. As for the play, I am getting about two dozen free tickets for opening night. I'll get a pair to you if you're still interested.
