Funny, I was just mulling over the fact that my car was coming up on 200K miles and would probably need the timing belt changed soon, and I would have to again find a trustable mechanic.. and then, monday morning, there was a *whump* under the hood and my car decided to speed up the process.

Good: Discovering one of the last little-known Public-accessible Hot Springs in southern California.
Better: Sharing that boulder-lined pool with your sweetie And a passel of mostly unclad female people.
Worse: Getting parboiled from the chest down by said hot spring, probably with the assistance of too much sulfur in the water.
