Oh, I love this. The whole thing rules, and the Jocard section is particularly breathtaking. And your Elizabeth charms me, as always. :D

So very, completely, decadently Jack, and hearing about his various interactions with the pirate lords, and their varying reactions to same, was so much fun. Great fic!

"I'm not the newest pirate lord, you know," she says. "Tai Huang tells me that Sumbajhee has retired. The new pirate lord of the Indian Ocean is a very pretty boy from Calcutta. All dark eyes and long legs, he says."

That hurt me.

All of this hurt me, but that, in particular, did damage.

Thank you.

Hah! and LOVE!

I'm so glad you took one of your own prompts, and that this was the one you chose. What a delightfully JACK story this is. Funny and spirited and stretching the truth where needed. And the ongoing tidbits about him being down on his luck and trying to find a victory wherever he can give it just the right smidgen of seriousness under its ribald, rolling humor.

he's a bit susceptible when he has someone's prick in his mouth
And we wouldn't really want him any other way, would we?

"As subtle as a ... very subtle thing,"
Such an utterly Jack-like line. I can see the eyebrow raise and wide eyes that go along with it.

"You could show me your vessel," Jack says, running his fingers down Villanueva's sleeve. "I'm sure it is huge ... ish ... and fierce."
Likewise, here I can hear the pseudo-drunken slur of the "ish" and it makes me giggle.

Jack has never really had a particular attraction to beards (except for his own, which is of course a thing of beauty)That, too, is our beloved Jack. Always most beloved of himself ( ... )

Thanks so much! I think Jack thinks that there's a fine line between victory and defeat, and it's a matter of who's telling the story.
