This one's really late. Sue me. Hah! See what I did there?!

Ahem.

On to the Sue. Oh, and I've added a new field. "Best Line" because there's always at least one that makes me giggle.

The description of her is what really, really makes me cringe. It rides the thin line of "Actually Good" & "Sucktastic", like the curious silvery fabric ribbon that adorns that run on sentence.

I completely agree with you about Will & Elizabeth. I'm sure they've set up house in Port Royal, and in the sequel Jack's going to come back and ask for help, or something. Neither of them seem to be ready to live the Pirate life for good. Hey, maybe the Sue is a succubus or a siren, so that would explain Jack's uncontrollable desire?

I included siren in my list of magical creatures that she might be when I linked to this over at marysues. I think it's a good guess.

Eesh. I can't bring myself to read it. :( I wish people wouldn't rape my fandom. :(

That is the wish of a million intelligent fans.

Unfortunately, there are 964 million fangirls and Suethors.

ITA with you on Will and Elizabeth, as well as Jack and Anamaria. "Forgot she's a woman." WTF?? I love Anamaria, so that automatically gets a sucktastic from me.

Anamaria rocks. And she would kick this Sue's ass, too, and I think the author knows it. Which is probably why instead of outright bashing her the Sue tries to befriend her.

I thought Anamaria was cool as well.

This author does suck! *shoves Sue into shark-infested waters*

Elizabeth Haydon's Prophecy. If you've read it: I pity that you had to have that experience, also, you know very well what I mean.

Haven't actually read it yet, but I've heard the tales. I think I just might read it out of sheer curiousity, y'know maybe to punish myself.

*throws her copy at you* Take it away from me, please! I don't believe in burning books, so I have no way to get rid of it...

YOU could burn it, though. =D

Ugh. Rhapsody, Rhapsody...some of the supporting characters were fun to read about, but the Sue just took over and strangled the life out of all of them with her Tentacles of Angst. =/

The only reason to read anything in the Symphony of Ages is Achmed.

He's certainly the only reason I even bothered to finish the first trilogy, much less read the sequel.

But burning is the only way to relieve that dry, burning feeling you get from reading Sue! Well...mayhaps a good ol' fashioned sporking would help a lot as well.

Tentacles of Angst

*L* That's funny.
