Here we'll answer all your questions, suggestions and concerns about the game mechanics, characters, the vampirism theory of the game, and whatever else you might want to know about. Don't hesitate to ask! Few no question is too "stupid".

So what is this all about?
This game is a high-school AU of the series Prince of Tennis -- with vampires. The premise of the game is very heavily based on the Vampire Knight series; however, this is not a VK game but operates solely on PoT characters instead.

Wait, there are vampires?
Yes. The school student body is divided into two parts: The Day Class, who live in the Dawn Dormitory and go to school during the daylight hours, and the Night Class, who live in the Dusk Dormitory and study at night time. The Night Class consists solely of vampires, while the Day Class are humans. For more info about the vampires, see here.

Does the Day Class know about vampires?
Yes. The main idea of the school is to promote peaceful coexistence between vampires and humans. As safety measures, the human students are prohibited to intentionally provoke the Night Class students, while the vampires are not allowed to drink any blood from the Day Class -- unless they get a clear permission.

So basically, it's a school?
Yes. The Day Class and Night Class have the same subjects, projects, and homework, only at different times of the day/night. The teachers are partly different, simply because they need sleep sometimes, too. The students all live in their associated dorms, while the teachers have their own lodging in the separate Twilight Dormitory. Both dormitories have their own strict curfews, which overlap a bit to allow for interaction between students from different dorms.

How are the dormitories laid out?
See the Dormitory info.

I want to play a pureblood! Why can't I?
Purebloods are, as per Vampire Knight lore, extremely rare. Therefore, only a certain number of purebloods are allowed in the game. According to the current rules, nine other vampires are required for each pureblood accepted.

My vampire went insane. Why can't I just say he attacked a particular person?
Because that is god-modding, which is quite simply against the rules. Check with the other character's player first.

What should I take into account when deciding my character's race?
First of all, think about what you want to accomplish with your character. Do you want a great love drama between a human and a vampire? Do you want to be an angsty sufferer? Do you want to struggle on the line between sanity and insanity? Do you want to be a human who's slowly trying to get into the world of the Night Class? A bitter hunter ready to attack any vampire at the slightest of reasons? Or do you just want to be a happy-go-lucky person who enjoys sunrises and pretty flowers?

Also remember that among vampires, powerless ones and turned humans are the most common. Playing an aristocrat or a pureblood might sound very tempting, but it's also a huge responsibility -- one you don't want to mess up.

Can I turn a human into a vampire?
Only if you are a pureblood. Even then, mod permission is always required. We don't want the game to be overrun by freshly turned vampires.

Can I include NPCs in my logs/entries?
Sure! Our characters are hardly the only ones attending the school, so mentions of non-played roommates/classmates/friends/crushes are just fine. However, remember that any major plots involving NPCs have to be accepted by the mods first. No serial murderers next door, please.

What's the point of all this, anyway?
The same as with any game. To have fun! Shock a clueless human, weave a complex love story, cause drama (but keep it IC) -- whatever your heart desires. Within the rules, of course.

When can I app for a recently dropped character?
As soon as the character dropped from the game either by the player or the mods/purge~. You can just go and put your own reserve/application in on the next second if that's what you wish to do. There's no waiting period for a dropped character, nor for any dropped reserve.

I'm applying for a character that was in the game some time ago. Do I have to keep his/her race that he/she previously was?
Absolutely NOT. The character was dropped and his/her story in this game starts all over again after the new player comes in. It's your character, make him/her as you wish him/her to be.

I'm applying for a character that was in the game some time ago. Do I have to keep his/her relationships and other stuff that he/she had in the game?
That's up to you and the other characters + muns involved to decide. If you all wish to keep them, feel free to do so. Just remember to contact the other players involved to ask about anything related to their characters, it's not very polite to make the decisions on your own. (For example: Our previous Fuji was bitten by our Shiraishi. Our new Fuji has the bite in his own history too!)
