I've had this written up since yesterday, and I forgot to post it. So here are the rules and prizes of the contest I'm hosting. This will be the last post from me for a few weeks, just so you know.

if we do a one-shot, do we need a picture? Or can we just write the one-shot?

Nope, you only have to do one or the other. No need to do both. :) I hope you enter!

is it ok if my one shot is over 1000 words long? And mine is what I think will happen at one point, so there's no real ending. I can't explain it, but it's something that I think will happen, so I guess my question is does it have to have an absolute ending, or is it ok if I just leave it hanging?

Oh yeah, definitely! One-shots can be any length, so long as they're over 500 words. And that's totally fine, you don't have to have an "absolute ending." It doesn't have to explain the entire plot of the seventh year - just a particular scene you think will happen. :)

Good luck!

I actually live in Detroit. You said you're going to HFA next semester? As in, next school year or in January? If it's next year, I'll be gone - I'm a senior this year.

Small world, lol.

lol..I'm guessing January if i'm accepted. Apparently the junior class is short. How wierd, I've been reading your stories since they've come out. :)

Yeah, the junior and senior classes are wayyy short. lol. That'll be cool if you come to HFA - I'll have a fellow HP fan there! I have a few junior friends, and they're all really cool, so hopefully you'll like it if you come!

I really can't believe you've read my story since it's come out - that's so weird!
