i read the giver in junior high. and the book i'm reading right now isn't lame, btw.

did you tape gg too? if not, you can give me a tape and i can put it on it for you if you wish.

reading the giver in jr. high doesn't count.

there's no way a jr. higher could understand that symbollism.

and yeah huh! my friends and i would talk about the book even on our own time...and we talked about all that stuff you said now.

i do have a copy, though. buuuuut i'm not gonna read it until i'm done with prophets since i have to read one hundred hours a week for that class.

i read the giver in 7th. and in 8th. and probably once or twice a year since then. i even planned a four week unit to teach it to a fictional class someday.

have you read its companions? gathering blue? and the other one?
