Very interesting biography of the man who is ultimately responsible for allowing the Jerry Springer Opera to be broadcast on the BBC this evening.

Might it be fair to say that charismatics are characteristically moved by what we might call the impulse of the gospel (God's powerful saving action on behalf of undeserving sinners) but not by the shape of the gospel (suffering before entering into glory)?
