I do not think that word means what you think it means

I'm sick of people constantly saying, "Oh you knit, you must have lots of patience." The word has lost all meaning. These people must picture me sitting at home all night every night stitching away lonely and sad. HA

*grins* I knew exactly what you were saying. I hate waiting at doctors offices, on buses etc I just hate waiting. I have to be doing something. Knitting is something to do. What do they do while sitting on the bus? Stare out the window. How do they have the patience for that? *grins* That was a bit aggressive of a post though. The concept of getting purple yarn with their blood... Ewww! Creative but still gruesome!
