Last week I read a bit of a work of fiction that sent me completely up the wall. It rankled me like nothing in my real life had in memory and I just couldn't settle down. Oh, the pain, the pain of it all. My stomach has been hurting for nearly 16-17 hours now. I'm not working. I don't care if they can't find a replacement. Not doing it.

On the upside, Dragon Doctors comics are continuing to be produced. That's good.

I don't know why, but sometimes--like many fans--I get too emotionally invested in certain things. I get worked up. I get headaches and/or a noticible increase in body temperature. Okay, I've been doing a comic every 1 1/2 days for several days in a row now...it's motivating to see people liking them. No comments on them yet but people are adding my stuff to their favorites list, particularly the "TG Wedding" comic I did as a jokey warm-up.

Well, came back from camping with my mother in Lassen. Nice big mountainy forest, saw a ton of deer (an average of two to three a day, sometimes right outside our lakeside campsite), one bush-eating bear on a hike (lots of hiking), boiling mud pots, three pine martins, lots of bluejays, good sites.
