In India, Asthma was an annual affair during Diwali time (I was allergic to the smoke). It was so regular that I use to call it my shedding season. I would shed all the weight I had put on during the year and return to baseline. Well, the baseline was pretty heavy too, but it must have been the asthma that kept me from becoming reaaly huge.

I went to the MAVS game last night with Sarah, Rajat, Meghna and Nikhil. Amazing game ! I had a blast. It was a playoff atmosphere, the arena was rocking and the game was close all the time. We were playing the Spurs, who are definitely the no. 1 team in the NBA. We lost 92-90 L. I just thought I’d write down my observations:

I have been fairly inactive on LJ due to my broken laptop. My IBM Thinkpad just died on me two weeks ago leaving me computerless at home. Finally, I have my new machine. It's  a Dell Inspiron 6000, 1.6 GHz, 512MB RAM, 60 Gig hard drive, DVD +-RW,15.4" widescreen. Nothing too fancy but more than enough for my requirements. God Bless EBAY.

This Saturday (10/22/2005), there is a Diwlai event at SMU. TABLA is catering and their food is really good. And there is a after event party with DJ, dancing and stuff. That's what I am really looking forward to.
