This is just for smooshylooshy I wasn't going to do this but I shuffled my ipod on my way home from work and got a really interesting list of tunes, LOL. There's only 10 or so though. I am to post the first line or so of the songs that came on for you to "Name that tune"! Some are really easy.

1) All I can say is that my life is pretty plain.

Omg I totally know number four and can sing it in my head but I have no idea who it's by or what it's called. The boyfriend looks like a girlfriend... that one!

Also, number one is driving me nuts. Damn.

Five is Alanis. "Uninvited", I'm pretty sure. Four is The Killers but I don't konw the titles of their songs. Two is an oldie. I'm thinking Sinatra or Otis Redding but I'm pretty sure it's not right. Is 10 "That's What Friends Are For" by Dionne Warwick or "Call Me" by Blondie? LOL What a guess.

Number one was driving me crazy. I knew the air and everything. So I googled it. Hence, I'm not saying anything.

The haiku was indeed brilliant. I loved TDS this week.

You are way off with Frank and Otis, LOL.

Speaking of Alanis, I found this while searching lyrics to make sure I was accurate. LOL. My first attempt was stupid though.

Just to add to my previous comment, I think the song by The Killers is called "Somebody Told Me". At least, that is what they repeat in the chorus. It was their first single and their second was "Mr. Brightside". I get a lot of these new groups mixed up though.

1) "No Rain" by Blind Melon. They used to play that a lot in IN, because the lead singer was from there.

2) "Unchained Melody" by the Righteous Brothers

:) we have another winner. Two more off the list. Gen- you should know #11.

#3 is really obscure, but hey I like it and it's on my ipod. LOL #8 is a fairly new release, and a few of the others older 80's alternative non-pop stuff.

Yes it is, and there is someone who reads my LJ that knew that, but alas they never post in here. It makes me sad. :(

Well, I wasn't that far off with my guess for "Unchained Melody". It is the same era as Otis Redding so there. LOL

I guess 11 has to be Tori Amos or Sarah McLachlan but I really don't know that song... Sarah McLachlan has "Dear God" but those are not lyrics from it. Okay, I went to check on "Under The Pink", and it has a song called God so I guess that's it. I've rarely listened to Under The Pink so yeah, don't really know that song.

The other stuff (besides 10!), I really don't know.
