If you download Silverlight (link on the right side) then go to Worldwide Telescope (I ran the web client version), you can see interactive views of Earth and space. My favorite is Earth at night. There is an incredible amount of information available through this application. -

Wanted to post this, in case anyone hasn't seen it yet.
The WolframAlpha Computational Knowledge Engine
This doohickey is fun to play with once you get the hang of it. Ask it "Why is the sky blue?" for instance, and it will tell you exactly why. The site just made its public debut, so sometimes you run into server overload. -
