Please tell me Nintendo did NOT just change the name of their new console from Revolution to... Wii. As in, "wii play together!", or perhaps even like "*Hands thrown up* WIIIIII!". I guess they needed a silly name to go with the silly controller. Can you say Wiitarded?

They seem to do that alot--- they come out with a new system and give it a temporary name--- like with the Nintendo Gamecube--- if you remember, it was one called the Nintendo Dolphin. But yeah, "Wii", is lame.

I wouldn't have minded if it had stayed Dolphin, mainly because I love the animal. And at least "Gamecube" is very descriptive: It's a cube, that, uh, plays games. The "Wii" sounds like it should have killer netplay (not a feature I've been hearing about). It's also probably going to interface with a bunch of different Nintendo stuff, just like the other one.
