So it looks like Guybrush may be going away in the relatively near future. Time to free up some space and get all the crap on him moved over to the new server.

So the Majestic/Colossus VM combo have been upgraded. I have now placed all of the .bin files for Cisco PIX resets into their TFTP directories. So now in addition to being able to do wholesale disk clones, or fire up an Ubuntu install on any computer that can PXE boot, I can also reset any PIX I come across ( Read more... )

IBM at Ameriprise is looking for some new victims...I mean techies. If you really really really need a job, you can work here. But I really wouldn't recommend it. Management is largely shit and you have to fix problems with Lotus Notes, and if that wasn't enough, installing Sharepoint isn't accepted as a way to fix problems with Lotus Notes.

I will now play with injecting drivers in to an ESXi installer disc. Oh yeah, I like living on the edge.

So my $130 video card I was drooling over is no longer sold at Newegg.:( I did find another card for $230 which has a newer processor model on it and about half again as many stream processors as the $130 card. I was reading the review and someone posted this little gem ( Read more... )
