I've been meaning to upgrade this Linux desktop machine for a long time. I bought a Socket A motherboard about five or six years back and a low-end Duron in the hope that I would get around to fitting something flashier to it later. Anyone else noticed a large increase in Comment spam on LiveJournal?

I really detest the way that, in many places, we are now expected to possess a valid credit card number in order to prove we are legitimate human beings.

Maybe all that "Mark of The Beast" stuff is true after all?

Just an update on this. We are having a small gettogether at home for may day. I sent out a load of emails a few weeks back, and Pirita mailed off some hand-made cards.
