wowie. i saw merle haggard and bob dylan last night. i can't think of a much better way to begin my third decade. mighty wonderful!

hawdy friends! i'm back home in californie for a while! alexis, alyson, eva, pamela(?), rakhi let's have fun.

also, coming back home to all my loverly records, i have been reminded that ry cooder's "paradise and lunch" is a-one of my favorite albums ever.

i LOVE matt cartsonis and john and nathan mceuen. they are my favorite folks. it is the nicest thing on earth to see them all in portland just like it was the coffee gallery back home in altadena and have happy little conversations and make fun of the silly old folks in the audience with 'em. they're nice guys.
